CSCS Green Card Course in Northampton
June 2-at-10:00 am - 5:00 pm£125
This 1 day course provides a practical summary of health, safety, welfare and environmental issues, identifying the delegate’s responsibility for looking after themselves and others; outlining the employer’s duties; and explaining what should be done if the worker thinks that anyone’s health and safety is being put at risk.
The Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment (QCF) is aimed at learners wishing to qualify for the CSCS Green Card to access construction sites in the UK as a non-skilled worker.
This qualification enables learners to understand the principles of risk assessment, safe manual handling, working at height and using equipment, as well as the general health risks in a construction environment. On completion, learners will demonstrate an understanding of key issues affecting safe working practices on UK construction sites.
Along with the completion of the CITB Health Safety and Environment Test, learners may apply for a CSCS Green Card and progress into careers in the construction industry.
